Read Apolinarius’s[39] _Against the Heathen_, _On Piety_, and _On Truth_. The writer was bishop of Hierapolis in Asia[40] and flourished during the reign of Marcus Antoninus Verus.[41] He deserves mention and his style is excellent. Other writings of his are said to be equally worthy of record, but they have not come into my hands.
