Text size

Six cens & six, six cens & neuf,
Un Chancelier gros comme un Bœuf
Vieux comme le _Phœnix_ du Monde,
En ce Terroir plus ne luira,
De la Nef doubly passera,
Au Champs _Elysiens_ faire ronde.

Old as the _Phœnix_ of the World,
Shall shine no more in this Countrey,
Shall pass from the Ship of forgetfulness,
Into the _Elysian_ Fields to go the round.
