GLOSSARY 281
_JOCKEY AND MAGGY’S COURTSHIP._
[This chap-book was one of the most popular of Graham’s
productions. It is reprinted here from a unique copy formerly
belonging the late Dr. David Laing, and now in the possession
of George Gray, Esq. It is in five parts. The title-page bears
that it had been ‘carefully corrected and revised by the Author.’
It was printed in 1779 by J. and J. Robertson, Glasgow, and is
perhaps the earliest copy extant.]
