"The Fantasy Fan, Volume 2, Number 4, December 1934" by Various is a fan magazine published in December 1934. This issue of the pioneering weird fiction fanzine was dedicated as a tribute to Edgar Allan Poe. Edited by seventeen-year-old Charles Hornig, the magazine featured contributions from legendary authors of horror and fantasy, including H.P. Lovecraft and Robert Bloch. It contained stories, poems, articles, and news about weird fiction. This issue also marked one of Hornig's experimental covers, though rising printing costs would soon force their abandonment.
